Wisła Can-Pack won in Toruń

In the game of 16 Polish League round Wisła Can-Pack defeated in Toruń the local team Energa 79:73. The most effective player, jest like in the first game in Kraków was Belgian Anke De Mondt, she scored for the "White Star" team 23 points! In the Energa team the most effective players were Jelena Maksimović and Julie Page - each one player scored 19 points.
Games Energa Toruń versus Wisła Can-Pack always are very exciting, not otherwise was in the game of 16th Polish League round. After third quarters Energa was on a lead 59:56, but the "White Star" team did not let Wisła fans and supporters and won the game. In Wisła Can-Pack team did not play Erin Phillips and Katarzyna Krężel.
Wisła Can-Pack started with the following players: Anke De Mondt, Milka Bjelica, Ana Dabović, Nicole Powell and Ewelina Kobryn. First points of the game were scored by Energa payers Weronika Idczak and next Julia Page. Energa was on lead 4:0. Fisrt points for Wisła Can-Pack were scored by Ana Dabović. Next Wisła Can-Pack players scored point by point. And the score was 11:6 for Wisła Can-Pack. Time-out for Energa Coach Elmedin Omanić. But after short break the better on the floor still were Wisła Can-Pack players. The first quarter ended by Wisła Can-Pack victory 21:17.
First points in the second quarter Ana Dabović scored. Next points for Wisła Can-Pack scored Magdalena Leciejewska. After "Lecia" points Wisła Can-Pack team suddenly stopped. Energa players used it and make the score 25:22 for Wisła Can-Pack. But Ana Dabović showed her presence at the floor. Ana Dabović scored 3 points and in the 5th minute of the second quarter Wisła Can-Pack was on lead over Energa 30:24. Ana Dabović scored another 3 points. But the second quarter Energa won 17:15. After two quarters the score was 36:34 for Wisła Can-Pack.
At the beginning of the third quarter Energa equalized 36:36. First points for Wisła Can-Pack in this part of the game was made by Ewelina Kobryn. Then Milka Bjelica scored and it was 44:41 for Wisła Can-Pack. Soon Weronika Idczak scored for Energa and the score was 44:43 for the "White Star" team. In the 6th minute of third quarter Bridgette Mitchell scored for Energa and the local team was on lead 47:46. After time-out for Jose Hernandez - Anke De Mondt made an action "2+1" and on the scoretable was 49:49. In the moment Bridgette Mitchell scored 3 points for Energa, in answer Paulina Pawlak scored two points for Wisła Can-Pack. Energa won third quarter 25:20.
The last quarter of the game started with the 59:56 score for Energa. Anke De Mondt scored first points in this part of the game. Bridgette Mitchell answered and it was 61:59 for Energa. In the moment Ewelina Kobryn scored for Wisła Can-Pack. Six minutes before the end Milka Bjelica put Wisła Can-Pack on a lead. In the last moments of the game Leah Metcalf got the unsportsmanlike foul. In the result or referees' verdict Nicole Powell used just one of two free throws but and action form the floor-middle was finalized by Anke De Mondt.
Wisła Can-Pack won 79:73. It was 15 the "White Star" team victory in the Polish Championships 2011/2012.
