Wisła Can-Pack won in Łódź

In the game of 17th Polish League round Wisła Can-Pack defeated in Łódź the local team - ŁKS Siemens AGD 72:64. The best scorer in the "White Star" team was Ana Dabović 14 points. Wisła Can-Pack played without Erin Phillips and Katarzyna Krężel.
A game in Łódź Wisła Can-Pack Kraków started with the following players: Anke De Mondt, Milka Bjelica, Paulina Pawlak, Nicole Powell and Ewelina Kobryn. First points were scored by Olga Urbanowicz - ŁKS Siemens AGD Łódź player. First points for Wisła Can-Pack were scored by Paulina Pawlak (3 points). In an answer Melissa Dalambert scored for ŁKS. Nicole Powell, used two free-throws and equalized the score. In the 5th minute of first quarter after Ewelina Kobryn free-throws at the scoreboard was 9:9. In a moment Jetta Archell McIntyre lost the ball, Nicole Powell stealed and an action was finalized by Ana Dabović. The "White Star" was on lead 15:13, but in the last minutes of the first quarter ŁKS Siemens AGD players were better. First Lauren Prochaska and next Olga Urbanowicz scored 2 points each player and first quarter ended with ŁKS Siemens AGD victory 17:15.
The scoreboard in the second quarter was moved by ŁKS player Melissa Dalembert. In answer 3 points for Wisła Can-Pack scored Paulina Pawlak and ŁKS Siemens AGD was still on lead - but only just one point - 19:18. In the next action of the game points for Wisła Can-Pack were scored by Petra Ujhelyi and the "White Star" team took the lead 20:19. After Petra Ujhelyi points ŁKS Siemens AGD Łódź coach Jarosław Zyskowski asked time-out. After short break Petra Ujhelyi scored again, and in a moment Ana Dabović showed her presence at the floor and scored again for Wisła Can-Pack. Wisła Can-Pack was on lead 23:19. Jarosław Zyskowski asked time-out again. After another short break Milka Bjelica used two free-throws and Wisła Can-Pack was on lead 25:19. In the 5th minute of the second quarter after next Ana Dabović points the "White Star" team was on lead 29:21. The second quarter Wisła Can-Pack won 28:14 and the Polish Champions got 12 points of advantage (43:31).
After the break the scoreboard was moved after one of two used free-throws used by Wisła Can-Pack captain Ewelina Kobryn, after Melissa Dalambert's foul. Next points were scored after 2 minutes and were scored again by Ewelina Kobryn. The "White Star" team was on lead 46:31. In a moment Nicole Powell scored three points for Wisła Can-Pack. In the 5th minute of third quarter Wisła Can-Pack was on lead 54:34. Finally, the third quarter ended 19:9 for Wisła Can-Pack.
The last quarter of the game Wisła Can-Pack started with a big advantage and therefore relaxed. In this period of the game the fans could see on the floor Agnieszka Śnieżek and Joanna Czarnecka. The fourth quarter ended with ŁKS Siemens AGD 24:10 victory, but the game Wisła Can-Pack Kraków won 72:64.
The Polish Champions won for the 16th time in the Polish League and the "White Star" team has a strong leader position in the PLKK standings.
On nearest Wednesday, 25th January 2012 in the 13 ELW round game Wisła Can-Pack will fight in Madrid vs. Rivas Ecopolis.
