In the 8th round Euroleague Women Group C game Wisła Can-Pack won in Koscie vs Good Angels 72:69. This is sixth Wisła Can-Pack victory in the Euroleague in this season.

Wisła Can-Pack Kraków kept pace with Spartak Moscow Region at the top of EuroLeague Women Group C by winning 72:69 at Good Angels Kosice on Wednesday night. Nicole Powell and Anke De Mondt wreaked havoc from long range for the winners, who improved to 6-2.

The former hit five of her six shots from the arc and scored a game-high 25 points while De Mondt, a member of Perfumerias Avenida's title-winning side last season, had 12 points on four-of-six shooting from the three-point line. Erin Phillips poured in 18 points for the winners.

Wisła Can-Pack Kraków led 63-54 going into the last quarter but had to hold on with Kosice outscoring them 15-9 over the last 10 minutes.

Midway through the fourth quarter, Wisła Can-Pack's lead was 65:63 but Kosice came up just short against Jose Ignacio Hernandez's team.

Natalia Vieru led the Kosice attack with 19 points. Danielle Mc Cray added 14 and Lucia Kupcikova had 13.

Next game Wisła Can-Pack Kraków will play at home vs Spartak Moscow Region on 7th December 2011. This will be absolutely TOP Euroleague Women game.
