Wisła Can-Pack defeated Tęcza. Taj debuted!

In the game of the 22nd Polish League round Wisła Can-Pack Kraków defeated Tęcza Leszno 90:62. The best scorer in Wisła Can-Pack team - Milka Bjelica 12 points. Taj McWilliams-Franklin successfully debuted by scoring 11 points had 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals.
Wisła Can-Pack started with the following players: Anke De Mondt, Paulina Pawlak, Ewelina Kobryn, Erin Phillips and debuting Taj McWilliams-Franklin. First points were scored by Ewelina Kobryn. In the first minute of the first quarter Taj McWilliams scored her first points for Wisła Can-Pack. First points for Tęcza were scored after free-throws used by Dominika Urbaniak. In the fourth minute after Justyna Grabowska points for Tęcza the score was 8:8. But in a moment Erin Phillips was fouled with shot attemp outside 6.75 m and after it Erin used 3 free-throws and Wisła Can-Pack took the lead 11:8. Finally, first quarter ended with Polish Champions victory 28:18.
First points in the second quarter were scored by Wisła Can-Pack's player Milka Bjelica, the same player finalized two next Wisła Can-Pack's action and totally got 6 points for the "White Star" team (34:18). In the third minute of the second quarter first points for Tęcza Leszno were scored by Justyna Grabowska. Next game action were finalized by Magdalena Leciejewska and Wisła Can-Pack was on lead 38:20. In the 5th minute of the 2nd quarter after "time-out" for Tęcza Leszno Head Coach Dariusz Raczyński Ana Dabović scored two points for Wisła Can-Pack and the "White Star" was on lead 40:20. Equally with the ends' sirene 3 points for Tęcza were scored by Katarzyna Bednarczyk. The second quarter ended by Wisła Can-Pack Kraków victory 23:15.
With the score 51:33 for Wisła Can-Pack the third quarter started. First points in this part of the game were scored by Milka Bjelica. In an answer two points for Tęcza Leszno were scored by Ewelina Gala. In the 8th minute of the third quarter Taj McWilliams wonderfully passed ball to Agnieszka Śnieżek, and a young Wisła Can-Pack got points for Wisła CP. In a moment once again Taj McWilliams passed the ball, but this time an action was finalized by Hungarian Petra Ujhelyi and the score was 75:47 for Wisła Can-Pack. The last points of third quarter were scored by Tęcza players. This part of the game was ended by Wisła Can-Pack victory 24:16.
With the score 75:49 for the Polish Champions team the last quarter started. Agnieszka Śnieżek scored first points in the fourth quarter. In the sixth minute after Magdalena Leciejewska points Wisła Can-Pack had 30-points advantage (85:55).
Finally, Wisła Can-Pack won the game 90:62.
In was 21st Wisła Can-Pack's victory in the current season of the Polish Championships and the last test before very important games in the EuroLeague Women Play-Offs vs ZVVZ USK Praha. The very successfully debut had Taj McWilliams-Franklin. New Wisła Can-Pack player in 18 min 24 sec scored 11 points had 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals.
On the nearest Tuesday at 7.45 Wisła Can-Pack Kraków will play vs ZVVZ USK Praha in the first game of the ELW Play-offs.
