Wisła Can-Pack won again in Polish League

In the game of 18th Polish League round Wisła Can-Pack defeated MUKS Poznań 95:60. Ana Dabović scored 16 points and had 11 rebounds therefore got double-double. In the game 16 points scored also Ewelina Kobryn and backing to the high disposal Magdalena Leciejewska. Agnieszka Śnieżek started the game in the first five, played very good and got 10 points.
Wisła Can-Pack started with the following players Ana Dabović, Agnieszka Śnieżek, Nicole Powell, Ewelina Kobryn and Magdalena Leciejewska. The "White Star" team after shots of Magdalena Leciejewska, Agnieszka Śnieżek and Ana Dabović (3 points) took the lead 7:0. Then first points for MUKS Poznań were scored by Magdalena Idziorek. In the eighth-minute of the first quarter after Agnieszka Makowska's three-pointer the score was 19:17 for Wisła Can-Pack. Finally, first quarter ended 23:21 for Wisla Can-Pack.
Nicole Powell opened the scoreboard in the second quarter by finalized two actions, one-by-one, and got totally 4 points. Next game's actions were finalized by Milka Bjelica and Petra Ujhelyi. Wisła Can-Pack was on lead 31:21. After time-out for MUKS coach Iwona Jabłońska Wisła Can-Pack run the action and Petra Ujhelyi was fouled by Natalia Mrozińska. Wisła Can-Pack's Hungarian player used just one of two free-throws. Finally Wisła Can-Pack won second quarter 25:8.
At the score 48:29 the third quarter started. First points in this part of game were scored by Nicole Powell. In the moment Milka Bjelica scored for Wisła Can-Pack and the "White Star" team was on lead 52:29. Time-out for MUKS coach Iwona Jabłońska. After the short break Paulina Pawlak scored for Wisła. Firts points in this part of the game for MUKS team were scored by Natalia Mrozińska. At 5 seconds before the end of third quarter MUKS Poznań started run the action, Ana Dabović stealed the ball but was fouled by Żaneta Durak. Ana Dabović used two free-points and set the third quarter score at 22:12 for Wisła Can-Pack.
Fourth quarter started with the score 70:41 for the "White Star" team and at the beginning Żaneta Durak was injured. MUKS player was replaced by Magdalena Idziorek. First points of the last quarter were scored by Agnieszka Śnieżek (72:41). The answer from MUKS players was fast - three points were scored by Magdalena Idziorek. At 3 minutes by the end another MUKS player - Dominika Owczarzak was injured and replaced by Magdalena Idziorek. The last quarter eneded by Wisła Can-Pack victory 25:19 and the final score 95:60 for Wisła Can-Pack.
Wisła Can-Pack Kraków played without players under rehabilitation treatment - Erin Phillips and Katarzyna Krężel and new-signed, expected in Kraków Taj McWilliams-Franklin. The "White Star" team won for 17 time in the Polish Championships.
On the nearest Wednesday, 1st February 2012, in the game of the last EuroLeague stage group Wisła Can-Pack will play versus Gospić Croatia Osiguranje. The game will start at Wisła Gym at 6.30. p.m.
