Wisła Can-Pack Kraków defeated Good Angels Kosice 52:45 in the Euroleague Women group C inauguration game.

The best scorer in Wisła Can-Pack team - Anke De Mondt 15 points.

On Wednesday, the opening night of the EuroLeague Women in Kraków. Anke De Mondt signing paid an early dividend for the Polish team as she scored a game-high 15 points. Good Angels Kosice did a great job of staying within striking distance. Natalia Vieru, Danielle McCray and Lucia Kupcikova each had baskets that pulled Good Angels to within five points. But the Slovakians got no closer. Wisla struggled from the line at first but ended up hitting their last 10 attempts and finished 12 of 17 on the night.

Wisła Can-Pack captain Ewelina Kobryn did not play becasue of her sickness.

Next Euroleague Women game Wisła Can-Pack will play in Vidnoje Moscow Region vs. Spartak on Wednesday, 19th October.
