In the 7th Euroleague Women Group C round game Wisła Can-Pack won in Gospić versus Croatian Champions - Gospić Croatia Osiguranje 73:65. Nicole Powell scored 22 points, and Ewelina Kobryn got double-double (13 points and 11 rebunds). One week ago the "White Star" team lost at home vs Rivas Ecopolis. Now, after Gospić victory Wisła Can-Pack Kraków is back to the winning ways. It was 5th Wisła Can-Pack success' in this season Euroleague.

Wisła Can-Pack Kraków turned on the style in the fourth quarter and won 73-65 at Gospic in Croatia. Coming off a disappointing performance in a 65:50 home defeat to Rivas Ecopolis, the Polish Champions prevailed on Wednesday night to improve to 5-2 in Group C. Winning at Gospic was anything but easy for Wisła Can-Pack. Down 57-55 with 7:10 remaining, the visitors pulled level with a Katarzyna Kreżel jump shot and they took the lead with another basket from Ewelina Kobryn.

Kalisha Keane's jump shot knotted the game for Gospic at 59-59 with 5:46 to play, but Erin Phillips' three-pointer and a Nicole Powell jumper put the Krakow team in front for good. Jose Ignacio Hernandez's team ended up outscoring Gospic 21-12 in the fourth quarter.

Powell had 22 points, Phillips 15 and Kobryn 13 for Wisła Can-Pack. Kobryn also pulled down 11 rebounds. Julie McBride and Marija Vrsaljko scored 16 points apiece for the Croatian team, who fell to 2-5 with the defeat.

Next week Wisła Can-Pack will play in Kosice vs Good Angels. Back to Wisła Gym on 7th December 2011 to play vs Spartak Moscow Region.
